My visit to Laura the Eyelash Fairy

Hello everyone!

I'm sorry I've been so absent writing on my blog lately, I've been enjoying my work-free and college-free life far too much! Its been so nice to catch up with friends and family, but I'm back to the desk today! I'm so excited for what is in store for Fashion Dreaming, my blog is growing daily which is so amazing, I never thought I would have over 7000 followers on social media and reach 25,000 people a week. I'd just like to say a massive thank you to anyone who reads my blog- fashion and beauty are a massive part of my life just like any other girl and I just love sharing inspiration and bargains with you.

A few months back I got a message from 'Laura the Eyelash Fairy' and she invited me up to her salon to get some treatments, as she was a fan of my blog. I had to wait a while before I visited her as I was in the middle of a hectic few weeks with work and college (...and I'm a scaredy cat and can't drive on the motorway!!). So last Saturday my boyfriend Sean was kind enough to drive me to Laura's salon which is located on Fair Street in Drogheda. It took us 25 minutes to get there from Dublin which is so handy and the Salon was so easy to find.

The salon itself is immaculate. I was so impressed by the interior design, it's so chic and stylish. I was greeted by Laura and Carol who were so lovely and friendly, they even made my boyfriend feel so welcome. Laura applied my semi-permanent eyelash extensions, to be honest I couldn't tell you for the life of me how long it took to apply them because I was so relaxed and we had such a lovely chat! If you follow me on snapchat or my facebook blog you will have seen my eyelashes. They are just amazing. I've never had them before but after a few days I don't think I could ever do without them!! I chose a quite a dramatic lash. They are so light on my eyes I keep forgetting I have them. They are brilliant for make-up free days as my eyes look so much bigger but when I do my make-up it looks so much nicer with the mink lashes! They will last me for about 4-6 weeks and they cost €50.

After my mink eyelashes were applied I was given a cup of tea and I sat down with Carol who is the nail technician in the salon. My own nails are so short and extremely brittle so whenever I try to grow them they break!! :( I decided to get a full set of acrylics as I love when my nails are long.  I decided to get a pointed nail and Carol applied a gorgeous nude colour. A full set of acrylics is only €35 which is fantastic value.

I am incredibly happy with my treatments and enjoyed the chats with Laura and Carol so much! I couldn't recommend this salon highly enough, my treatments were first class, extremely good value and the staff are so friendly. Without a doubt I'll be back to visit the salon as I don't think I can ever be without these eyelashes again!

Lots of Love,
