Butter London review thanks to

The lovely Elena from sent me a big package full of Butter London products and 'Just Lashes' eyelashes. I had heard great things about the Butter London nail lacquers, but I wasn't even aware they had a full cosmetics range!  I was over the moon to get these goodies and I've been testing them out for the past week so that I could report back to you about what I loved!

As you can see from the photo above, the products look so luxurious at first glance and I just love the drawings on the packaging :) Of course I tried the nail lacquer first as I had heard so many great things! I recieved the colour 'cuppa' which is a beautiful nude colour. The consistency is fantastic, so much so that I only needed one coat to get a really deep colour. The nail lacquer lasted about 5/6 days on my nails which I was really impressed with considering I was working 5 days last week, in college 4 days and typing away on the laptop every second that I had a chance! These nail varnishes retail at €15.00

I usually never wear lip glosses as I hate the sticky feeling it gives. Any girl who has long hair will know the struggle with lipgloss on a windy day! :P haha. This one is very different to any I have tried before. Its a beautiful sheer gloss with a very small hint of pink, it has a gorgeous smell and feels very light on the lips. It made my lips look so full so I was really happy I gave this product a chance! This lip gloss is now a must-have in my makeup bag and it costs €20.

Next, I'm going to talk about the tinted balm lipstick, I got this colour in 'Toasted Marshmallow'. If you read my blog a lot you will know I'm mad for a matte nude lip! This product unfortunately didn't live up to my expectations, this isn't because of the product itself but is due to my personal taste. The balm is quite a light consistency, really silky on the lips (it feels lovely) and has a small bit of shimmer. I tend to only wear lipsticks if I'm going on a night out with my friends or out for dinner with my boyfriend, so I like my lipstick to make a statement. If you are looking for something really natural and lightweight it's a great option and would look gorgeous for natural day-time makeup. The price is €20.

I tend to stay away from pink blushes as I have really red cheeks and they often show through my make-up. This blush has been my saviour the past week. Its a beautiful biscuit coloured creme blush, it glides on to the cheeks so effortlessly and its very buildable. I was so pleased with how natural the blush looked on my face. (P.S. How pretty is the packaging!!) This blush retails at €20 and I believe it is well worth the investment. This is my 'No make-up' make up look, I achieved this in about 5 minutes as I was rushing to work!!

The next product I'm going to talk about is the Wink eye-pencil. I was beyond impressed with this eyeliner as it lasted on my eyes from half 6 in the morning till 10 o'clock that night, it's extremely pigmented which I really appreciate in an eyeliner. It glides onto the skin but dries within about 30 seconds. If you get this product you'll never have to worry about panda eyes again! I have the shade 'Brown Sugar' and it costs €18.

I hope you enjoyed reading about the Butter London Cosmetics range and if you have any questions you can leave a comment below or contact me on my facebook page. Alternatively you can find all the products mentioned on or contact the company via their facebook page

Lots of Love,
