The Make-Up Eraser Review

I was talking to the lovely ladies at the 'Make-up Eraser' stand last night at the Needsnotwants Ultimate Ladies night out and when they told me about this product there was no way I could leave without it. I have seen some Irish bloggers and YouTubers use this product which made me want to try it even more!

The product was launched 2 years ago in the US and it has fast become one of the most sought after beauty tools in the American Market. It is extremely popular in the UK also and at the RDS beauty show this year it completely sold out!

I'll be completely honest and say I am the worlds worst for taking my makeup off properly. I usually just take it off with a baby wipe/ face wipe and moisturise afterwards. This product claims it is designed to remove even the toughest of makeup including waterproof mascara and eyeliner, HD eyebrow powder and lipstick just by wetting the cloth with water.

To use the dual-sided Make-up Eraser, all you have to do is wet the cloth with warm water and, using the short fibred side, rub your face in a circular motion.  This process completely removes your makeup without the need for cleansers. Then to exfoliate, simply flip the Make-up Eraser and repeat the process, using the long fibred side to cleanse your pores. My skin was left feeling smooth, soft and perfectly clean.

I loved this product because it was so simple to use and my skin felt great after using it. When you look at the ingredients in your cleansers and makeup wipes you probably wouldn't be able to pronounce half of them! This product ensures you don't have to put any harsh chemicals on your face to remove your makeup.  I've been advised to wash the cloth when it gets grubby and many bloggers have confirmed that all of the makeup comes out of the cloth when you wash it and it looks brand new. I was wearing Benefit 'They're real' mascara and anyone who has tried this knows how difficult it is to remove, well the makeup eraser removed it in a few motions so I am beyond impressed!

It retails at €19.99 which is fantastic when you consider how much you would spend on skincare wipes and cleansers every month! This is such a convenient tool to have in your makeup bag and I would highly recommend purchasing one, especially to anyone with sensitive skin like myself!

They are available in a few select pharmacies in Ireland or you can purchase it online at www.makeuperaser.ie

Please let me know what you thought of my review, comment below if you have any questions and if you buy this product let me know what you think!

Lots of Love,
